Chaplaincy position - Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

The Chaplaincy Department in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is currently advertising for a new chaplain to support the developing services we provide for patients and staff across the Health Board region.
At the heart of healthcare chaplaincy is the ability to journey with patients, families and staff through both difficult and good times and in that journey, provide appropriate support in an attentive and sensitive way.

Chaplains also have the opportunity to show creative thinking and grow ideas as we continually work to be a valuable resource to the hospital community.

The successful candidate must be at ease working as part of an ecumenical team and open to working with people of all faith traditions and none.

On-call and some Sunday work is required with this post.

Applications are invited from those who have been ordained and are in good standing within their own denomination or faith community and hold appropriate licence / accreditation.

This post is banded as band 6 A4C. (Reckonable service and experience may be reflected in the starting salary.) Band 6 (26,565 – to – 35,577 pro-rata plus on-call payments and unsociable hours enhancements)
